Watch out for Fake Top Massage Chair Lists this Year! There are a couple of misleading lists rating massage chairs that our customers have brought to our attention. The majority of the brands and models on these lists are not considered top models and have either been discontinued, the brand went out of business, or the chair is simply outdated. Read more below.
4 Reasons Why these Lists are Fake
- All the massage chairs on the list have been discontinued or are poor quality models except for the Panasonic MA-73.
- On list #1, we use to carry two of the brands but have since removed them from our website for poor customer service that was not up to our standards. These brands should not be on anyone's top massage chair list this year.
- Omega Montage Pro - Omega went out of business years ago, if not, they have some of the worst customer support. We pulled them from our website a few years back.
- Superior SMC-6850 - We removed Superior a few years back too, for poor customer support.
- Fujimi EP-8800 - We have only seen this brand at Trade Shows and for crazy expensive prices. The model is also outdated.
- The #1 massage chair on one of the lists is priced at $25,999 Retail and on sale for $8,599. Guess what? We sell the same chair for $2,995 with the same amazing hip twist!
Shady Tactics to Look Out For

- Crazy Price Changes: Does the massage chair have an MSRP over $10,000 then have a blowout deal thousands less? This is a Red Flag! The best massage chairs on the market are not even over $10,000, and the brands that make these models have been around for over 50 years.
- Time Sensitive Pricing: Is there a time limit to the sales price, and the deal never seems to change - “Price Increase in X Days”.
- Pushy Aggressive Sales
Amazon & Other Fake Review Lists
There are also a lot of review sites with top lists and reviews that are often misleading. These have products that link to Amazon so you can purchase the massage chair. These are affiliates that have never used any of the massage chairs, just trying to make a quick buck. If the website links out to Amazon we would not trust it. Quality Control - Watch Out for No-Name Brands
Yes, we see no-name brands pop up every year. They order white label massage chairs from one of the lower tier factories (higher-tier factories have exclusives with only reputable brands). Then they create a brand name and sell it on Amazon, eBay, and Direct on their websites, and these are the only places that you will ever see them. These brands only last a couple of years, then disappear, and leave all of their customers without warranty support... How do we know, because they call us for service when their chair breaks. Always the same story...bought the chair online, and I can’t get a hold of anyone for repairs.
